I saw you in the hallway as you were going to primary, and I just fell in LOVE with her skirt. Gracie has the best clothes! And that hat on Grant,, what a stud!

  • Sara

I love the black and white shot of Grant is in the office. And I LOVE Gracey’s leggings. –sara

These are some of my favorite Sunday pic’s. Just so fantastic.

  • Natalie

Grant in that hat…so, so cute!

  • Lori

I love the black and white photo of Grant, and his bow tie!

What a fun idea… to post those pictures you never quite get around to. My favorites are Grace in panties, and of course that great dress/hat combo. Grant looks good in a hat, too!

  • Love that quote and those adorable kiddies.

  • I never can get over how STUNNING their eyes are! Just gorgeous.

  • Sara

Still love that potty training shot of Grace.

  • My favorite was the one of Grant kissing Grace’s nose, it put a little knot in my throat!

  • everything is lovely, lovely, lovely.

Gracie’s Purse

Gracie and her purse.  This is just about as exciting as the Gracie wears a clip post.  Gracie has taken to her little purse and anytime we’re about to go somewhere in the car, she goes and gets it.  And today she was feeding her dolly a peanut butter sandwich…so excited about this little girl…

SO fun and I love that her old hair flower is now on her sweater. AND I love that her little purple dress still fits her. Be sure to bring it for a matchy-matchy picture with Auntie D in March!!

  • Jessica M

Grace always looks so cute! What an adorable outfit (and purse)!

  • Karen

I love her girly girl purse. So sweet. And the bottom right photo is just breath taking. What a beauty. Oh how she is growing up.

  • Hope

That is so sweet!! She makes me smile every time I see her!!!

I saw Grant at lunch at school today! He didn’t see me, but I had fun seeing all the familiar faces from the Primary friends!!

  • The purse is nice, but I LOVE the tights. I know, I know…I’m a broken record.

  • beckikanigan

I love the colors in these!

  • Wendy Robertson

I’m enjoying the Boy stuff, but little girls and all the girly stuff are so much fun! I love her purse! So cute!!!

  • Definitely am LOVING that waaay cute purse as well as the colors! I can’t believe how much like a little girl she is looking. Toddler-hood is melting away too fast. She sure is cute!

  • The colors ARE fabulous – from shoes to headband (and I LOVE those tights)! Girls are OH, SO MUCH FUN!

  • Sara

You know what is even better than Grace’s whole outfit??? It’s the fact that you get to still pick out what she wears and do her hair. It is so frustrating when you have to let that go. I cringe at some of Alysee’s outfits that she puts together and the hairdos she creates for herself.

  • Did you make that purse? It’s so cute, almost as cute as the little girl holding it!

  • Quincy

    A PURSE! HOW DELIGHTFUL!

  • That child is so beautiful and so precious!!

  • Lori

What fun to accessorize with a girl!

  • Natalie

Oh, that Gracie sure is adorable with her little purse.

Moving bark mulch…

Someone has been hard at work in the backyard.  Time and time again I have told Grant where he can dig…he’s getting pretty close to the line recently.  Grant has been very emotional lately, at home and at school.  Maybe it’s just regular first grade emotions, maybe it’s something else, but he gets home hits…

At least Grant shared with you what was bothering him. And moving bark mulch sure is a healthy way to deal with a bad feeling! And that Gracie looks like such a big girl. Will Susie look like that in five months? I must squeeze her tighter then. . . maybe she will stop growing. 🙂 (Doesn’t it break your heart some knowing that your child is big enough to have to deal with these kind of emotions?)

  • Grant? Not imaginative? Madness! Of course he does. Without a doubt. Pooh on that little meanie who told him otherwise. Grr.

  • Natalie

You tell Grant that he does in fact have an imagination that is out of this world. We have seen it at work many times and we are amazed!

  • I enjoy posts on Grant because he is so similar to my Christian. So creative, so imaginative… he is a joy to watch! Another thing I love… boys with soft hearts!

  • Karen

Oh that makes me sad to hear. Emotions are so tough at this age. Both my boys had a hard time. I love your picture of Grace. Her hands speak for themselves.

  • Sara

Her poor fingers do look freezing. I’d like to go sock that kid that told Grant he doesn’t have an imagination…Grant seems to be just about as imaginative as it gets.

  • Sara

By the way, we are finding more and more that boys are VERY emotional. Threw me for a loop.

  • Lori

It’s great that Grant has such great space to unwind and vent school frustrations. I think he has a great imagination and I love his find!

TV Junkie

It all started a few weeks ago…. Rarely do we watch television at our house (we don’t even have cable or satellite), but we do enjoy movies.  With the frigid cold temperatures I didn’t want to run with Grace outside in the mornings, so I dusted off the treadmill.  I was worried about what she…

  • Without TV I would not get a shower or be able to clean the kitchen. Kim, in that last picture your baby looks like a little girl!

  • Diana

I was going to say the EXACT same thing as Amy about Gracie looking like a little girl!

  • Quincy

    Cute cute cute!

  • Sara

I was just telling Alex the other day how I worked hard to train him to like tv so I could have a little break in the day.

  • A mother’s gotta do, what a mother’s gotta do! Grace looks so grown-up in the second picture – look how long her hair is! Just adorable!

  • beckikanigan

That’s a good point. It’s good to monitor her, so when she has it on the plane it will still be new and exciting. I don’t know what it is, but Linc turns into a zombie whenever ours is on. 🙂
