Logan is turning one | Tate Farms

There’s always beautiful skies after the stormy weather here in Alabama!  It was the perfect afternoon for pictures after a rainy weekend on the farm and everything oozed fall.  Logan is turning one this Saturday with a big football party…touchdown!  What a sweet little guy, there wasn’t a cuter pumpkin in the patch!

The popcorn and wheelbarrows are the BEST!

cell phones, all the people and preschool

These three phones go pretty much everywhere; two in the purple purse (glasses case) and one in hand. I think she learned this at nursery, she started doing it a few weeks ago. …off to preschool, D is for Dolphin!

It was now or never | cotton & other fields

Every Sunday on our way to church we drive by a beautiful cotton field and every Sunday I say out loud to the kids, remind me to go take your pictures in the cotton fields… Then the week goes on and I always forget, the harvesting has started and I was determined to get out…

Your kids are so cute and your pictures are beautiful!

  • Kimberly

I LOVE these pictures. Where is the field? My dad has been wanting me to snap a few pictures of the kids in a cotton field. This one looks beautiful. I especially love the “mystery crop” field. (My guess is soy beans. I am not 100% sure.)

  • Whitney

The mystery field is soy beans! 🙂 You were right!

  • Kim M

Grace is so cute… these pics are cracking me up!

I need to take you to Fayetteville one day. I would love to see that cute town through your lens.

  • Quincy

This & That

Departing summer hath assumed An aspect tenderly illumed, The gentlest look of spring; That calls from yonder leafy shade Unfaded, yet prepared to fade, A timely carolling.–  William Wordsworth, September Isoms We took our annual trip out to Isoms one afternoon to gather pumpkins, corn stalks and apple cider, we also pulled out the Halloween decor…

Rain! Pumpkins! Cute kids! Three of my absolute favorite things. Perfect post, thank you!

  • That raining picture w/ Grace is beautiful. I’d blow that one up. And her shoes- love them. I’ve been debating which color I’m going to get when they go on sale.

  • Jessica M

I loved this group of pictures! All of them.

  • I have a new favorite picture!–Gracie catching raindrops on her tongue. Please, please, please blow that one up and frame it. Priceless!

  • alisha

I love Grace catching rain on her tongue, too! Definitely worthy of a frame. And, the picture of the lime is breathtaking.

  • Natalie

Beautiful rainy day pictures. I miss Isoms! Looks like fun with the pumpkins.

  • I just LOVE your macro shots! I got a macro lens and have been playing around with it, but my results have not been so great… And, as always, the shots of your kids are adorable! Hope you are doing well!
