Welcome to my blog!

Thanks for stopping by and sharing my love of photography!  Here you'll find my latest photo sessions and many more pictures of two kids who make my world go round!  A native Oregonian recently transplanted in the South I enjoy all forms of art and the journey it's taking me on.  My inspiration?  My beautiful children and mother earth.

I am a Nikon user an lover.  My favorite part of a photo session with you is capturing those candid real moments, freckles on a child's nose and eyes that say it all.

Some things I enjoy when I'm not taking pictures are: my family, the outdoors, travel, a good run, the rain, Italian food and ice cream!

Why lifestyle portraiture and is it what I want?

If you are drawn to photographs that captures life in the moment, then this is what you're looking for!  Lifestyle portraiture focuses on those special, candid moments and emotions in life and relationships.  I like to think of it as real life with an artistic flare! 

What does it mean, you're a natural light photographer?  Do you only shoot outdoors?

I shoot only using natural light from the sun and only do outdoor sessions (with the exception of newborns).  This is my style and expertise.  I feel that being outdoors gives a sense of freshness to pictures that lends to capturing real moments in real places.

How would you describe your style?

Natural, organic and artistic---that is what I strive for!  I love capturing that candid moment that makes you smile every time you look at it.  I love the outdoors & nature and shooting outdoors gives a natural feel to the moment.
